Mobile Massage Therapy

Preparing Your Space

A Massage Table takes up the same about of room as a twin bed, the Therapist will also need room to move around the table in order to properly work within the space. Your Therapist will happily move any move-able furniture if need be, no need to worry about rearranging anything before we arrive. We also would like to note that you shouldn't feel the need to "clean up" or worry about what your location looks like... your therapist is a professional and understands that life sometimes gets messy especially with children and pets. The only requests that we have is that the space is safe and that we prefer to avoid taking the massage table up flights of stairs (this prevents potential damage to walls as well as strain to the therapist). The client is welcome to request the therapist swing by to assess the massage location before the client decides to book.

Children and Pets

Children and friendly household pets are welcome inside the session area while the massage is taking place. Though the Therapist does not mind the extra company the client is asked to remember that the Massage Therapist is not to be used as a childcare provider or a pet sitter, therefore can not be held responsible for anyone but the Therapist's self and the client that is on the table. We also ask that precautions be set to avoid pet or child damage to any Cheerful Chi Massage property. In the event that any damage does occur to our table/equipment due a pet or child the client may be held responsible.

Parking and Stairs

Please inform your Therapist of the amount of stairs (ex. three flights, no elevator)  between parking and the service location. We also ask that the client information their Therapist of the location Parking situation, the client is also responsible for covering parking costs if need be.

Session Termination & Zero Tolerance

The Therapist has the right to end a session at any given time due to safety and/or client professionalism. The client will be charged for the full session price and will be asked to not rebook with the Therapist. Please contact your Therapist if you have any questions about early session termination. Cheerful Chi Massage also has a Zero Tolerance policy with sexual misconduct or harmful behavior from staff members or clients/potential clients. If a complaint is filed against a client or a staff member due to misconduct then an investigation may be require that can result in criminal charges. Please contact the owner, Carrie Boehnlein, if you have any further questions or feel the need to report unprofessional behavior within the Spa.
